Welcome to our little orange house in Playa Potrero!

After melting for too long, we decided to rent this sweet little house for a month.

We stocked up on beer and happily moved Skyhorse’s contents inside.

(We bought 30 more after this picture)

For $500, we have plenty of space to stretch out, air conditioning, washer and dryer, cable, wifi, and a garage for the motorcycle.

Skyhorse is parked right out front.

The best part–a fab backyard with fruit trees, shade and sun, POOL and an outdoor shower!

The big house is unoccupied for the month we are here so the entire outdoor space is ours.

So from now until July 26, you’ll be seeing a lot of this

Oh man, guys, that looks gorgeous! I recognize that shower from my homestay in San Pedro. My first morning there, I got in the shower and then noticed that not steam, but *smoke* was rising out of the showerhead. Yikes! First Spanish lesson of the month: learning how to say “There’s smoke comng from the shower”; luckily, the family fixed it immediately that day when I went to classes. (Added bonus: I also learned the verb “to repair”).

Glad you guys are enjoying yourselves!

Well that looks simply fantastic! We plan on renting houses as we go too, an excellent way to get out of the heat and just slow down for a bit.
